Beauty discovery has arrived

Birchbox, the renowned beauty subscription service partnered with Walgreens to extend reach to their “casual beauty customer” by creating a store-within-a-store both online and within the Walgreens footprint. A range of full-size products from indie beauty brands would be available for customers to purchase online and try in an elevated store experience. It includes an interactive fixture to build personalized boxes and a digital photo area for fun pics to share on social media.

Idea: Announce the arrival of this exciting partnership

The essence of the casual beauty customer came to life through approachable, yet aspirational photography. The uniqueness of the ownable subscription boxes was shot to showcase the design detail and products now available at Walgreens. There was a shoot to feature the newly built environment on the site, in email, for digital display and marketing materials.
